Over 150 llamas participate in this event. Llama owners come from Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Ohio to compete in the weekend events. The competitions include showmanship, halter and performance classes. It is an open show with youth events.
The Llama Classic is held at the Western Michigan Fairgrounds on US 10 in Ludington. The show motel is the Super 8 , 5005 W. US 10, (231)845-1417. For other accommodations visit the Ludington Convention and Visitors Bureau.
